defend a couple fights at 140 (witter?), end his career against pacman at 140. he's done at 147 and has reached his ceiling at 140. I know he still wants another shot at pbf...and to be honest with you, i think pbf would give it to him but i'm fairly sure his camp and promoters won't go for it.

Definitely back to 140... and simply fight all comers at that weight. I said from day one that he shouldn't go up to 147 to fight anyone. Hatton is too small for that weight.

I say he stop gaining weight between fights , fight 4 more time at 140 and come back to 147 once he has given his body the chance to stay in shape year round and be able to put 5 pound with no ill effects.

oh yeah and keep that right up..

Agreed the Collozo fight was kind of the blue print for how Hatton adjusted to 147 ..Either way respect to Ricky for taking the challenge .

Yep. Ricky CANNOT fight at 147. He needs to go back down to 140. And for God's sake, who would anyone want to see a rematch between PBF and Ricky? It wasn't a war it was a one sided beating. That question has been answered for me, a rematch is just taking my money.

In my opinion, Hattons days as a fighter are num ber, he has the money, and needs to stat thinking on his retirement....fights a few top ranked 140 and retire...would be interesting to see Judah v Hatton at 140lbs before Ricky would retire...

Yeah but he has no buisness at 147 ..He can go down as one of the best 140 lbers ever ..Its not that bad Hatton has a bunch of fights left he's only 29 ..People have bounced back from worse !

i agree with the comment where hatton should stay in shape inbetween fights for a year and see how he progress's.. he may be able to fight at 147 then alot more comfortable for his body being in a good state of condition for a long period of time rather than having to burn all that blub off.

He should maybe look to dominate the junior welterweight division but as iv said in other posts i dont see whats really left for him to do. I think Witter would beat hatton i really do.
