I still have the letdown we know as Povetkin above Helenius.

This undefeated record, combined with the win over Chambers, makes him more credible than Helenius, at this point. The Peter win is not that big a deal, given that he's been deflated repeatedly, now. Chambers has one loss, and Povetkin beat him when he was still undefeated and highly ranked.

    Wlad/Vitali
    Haye
    Valuev/Chagaev
    Povetkin/
    Adamek
    Helenius
    Chambers
    Dimitrenko
    Boytsov

    Something like that.

    1. Wlad Klitschko
    2. Vitali Klitschko
    3. Haye
    4. Adamek
    5. Povetkin
    6. Chambers
    7. Chagaev
    8. Helenuis
    9. JC Gomez
    10. Thompson
    11. Solis
    12. Boystov
    13. Ustinov
    14. Peter
    15. Dimitrentko
    16. Valuev ( if not retired )
    17. Pianeta
    18. Kingpin
    19.Pulev

Of the top of my head, probably missing a few. Though in between 6 and 19 could all make massive leaps either way now in the next year.

Solis getting knocked out in the first round (that IS what happened) causes his ranking to plummet, in my opinion. To me, Solis is still top 15, but no longer top 10.

That's a pretty good list. I'd rate Helenius as high as #8, but no higher. My own top 20...

    Haye
    Adamek
    Chagaev
    Povetkin
    Chambers
    Helenius
    Thompson
    Dimitrenko
    Gomez
    Solis
    Boystov
    Arreola
    Boswell
    Mormeck
    Pulev
    Ustinov
    Tua

Ruslan is a big question mark because of the Hep C, most places won't allow him to fight. All the top guys will side step him because he is a durable, good boxer who's more risk than reward.

Valuev is a question mark too. Is he still fighting or not?

Thompson should fight Chambers for another shot at Wladimir or either one could fight Chagaev.

We need to weed out the contenders better. Who is Povetkin scheduled to fight?

..............and let me add that Sergei Liakovich is a former champ that's usually fun to watch, win or lose.

His fight against Brewster is legendary and his fight against GUinn was very exciting also. He's a good inside fighter with size & a decent lead right hand to the body.

I'd love to see that fight. The winner would probably be in line for least a spot in an eliminator within 12 months.

I don't have a personal list I feel strongly for other than that the Klitchkos are 1 and 2 as for Helenius I never thought very highly of him always looked slow and out of shape, but how can you argue against him when he just keeps winning? he is so early on in his career yet he already has some pretty impressive scalps no matter if they were passed it or not not many get such experienced competition as he's got already, in fact I can't think of anyone that has.

He might just be going places after all :think
