Agree, barely even 1 out of the 100 jabs he threw even looked like they had pop in them.

It was a humiliating defeat for Hughie as an objective observer like me with no sides and no skin in the game

Fair point. He’s not a trash talker and he’s not been aggressive enough, so at present, not that many mate. He’s only 23 though, he will improve.

The judge who scored it 114-114, his name is Rocky something... anyway he was sat right in front of the 5live radio commentators, one of the commentators had it 6-6, the other 7-5 for Fury. Personally, I think it is crazy that a judge can be sat within earshot of any commentator, with the best will in the world it is not easy to block out that sort of thing. And if you do against the grain and then it turns out no one else sees it your way you could end up being the next Adalaide Byrd, so I guess the easy way out is to just go along with the commentators.

He needs to get amongst the British/euro mix. Plenty of fights out there for him with the likes of whyte, chisora, price, cornish, Joyce, lewison.

He's ducked whyte a few times now

It sounds he's got the defensive side of the game sussed. He just needs to let his hands go. To me, he looks (and I haven't seen the full fight so maybe wrong) like he never had his feet set and he isn't used to punching in combination. Its fine throwing 1-2's and not much else. Lewis (towards the end) anyone? but he just doesn't seem to do that.

There's plenty of fights available for him, it will make it more difficult to get big fights as he isnt a puncher but he can still work his way up.

Embarrassing defeat not really. He lost in a controversial fashion to a belt holder who is supposed to give the big guns at heavy all they can handle.

I bet Joshua is quaking in his boots

Wilder is looking for an opponent after the Ortiz debacle.
Although it's likely Hughie won't get past VADA either.

Shouldn't be allowed back in a ring until his balls drop.

    Fixed

Shouldn't be allowed back in a ring until he
    This content is protected
    balls.

And until he learns that running backwards throwing the weakest jab that doesnt land most of the time, is not enough to win a fight, when your opponent is forcing the fight and landing the only offensive action of note.

Him and the Furys need to wake from their own behinds and sharpish.

Stop with the conspiracy theories and start manning up and fighting like men

Hughie v Wilder ? On one side of the ring we have Hughie dancing about, never going within 10 feet of Wilder. On the other side Wilder is throwing constant windmills Aimed at noone in particular. Would just be dreadful.
