I'd like to see JT win an easy comeback fight on a card with 1 of the young olympians to set up a match.

JT had Froch beat....refuses to ever take a knee....is far from finished IMO.

Retire? He's only what 30 or 31? The guy has a good 3-prime years left.

After the fight he was center ring asking Froch for a rematch. After Pavlik he was asking, "Was I knocked out".

Who's he gonna fight though, mate? Froch won't even consider a rematch considering that JT had everything his way in negotiations for their fight. He said he can't make Middleweight anymore so what does he do? I suppose he could fight Balzsay but other than that who is there at SM? Also, is Taylor really an attraction anymore in the States? I just don't see where he can go from here. I don't wanna see him fight bums.

I doubt Jermain is a rich man so he can probably make a decent living feasting on the crumbs at 168. Truthfully 168 is a pretty stacked division, so why not go back to 160 where he has a legit chance against anyone?

Because he can't make 160 anymore.

That's strange since he was openly talking about going back down to 160 after he beat Lacy.

Maybe he can't anymore and you're right. That said unless he pulls off a massive string of victories at 168, I think his HBO or SHowtime career is done.I'd like to see Taylor vs Bika.

Like I said man, despite coming off the loss, I'm almost positive the WBC has Jermain in a mandatory position. If he bides his time, in theory he could come back straight away with a title shot.

He was also talking about fighting Calzaghe at 175.

I think Showtime will give him another chance since they just got him but he must not fail again cuz that would be bad.

Does JT need a new trainer or does JT just not have the proper footwork to improve his game and other aspects of his game?

Maybe they would...who could they put him in against though?

Bute and Froch are unifying soon unless we're being led astray by all the news. Kessler has the beast that is Gusmyl Perdomo on the horizon.

I suggested Bika but perhaps Showtime would be more interested in using Taylor to create a NEW contender at SMW? Maybe someone like Balszay or Dirrell?

    I'd say Green.

Same promoter,Lou knows both guys can't make it,take one down pass him around.

I'm sure that's the plan, but he wants to build up Green's record first, and Taylor needs an easy win next fight.
