So in your estimation, 2 losses, horrible one sided losses, are better than winning the lineal championship at MW, or make you more proven?

Exactly what is it that Trinidad did at 160 that makes you believe he has even a SHOT at beating Pavlik at 160? He couldn't handle Hopkins strength, and Pavlik is bigger than he is. And he hits much harder.

 

Prime Joppy is better than Taylor? Taylor at the time, was unbeaten BTW, if you want to play that card. Nevermind that Joppy had beaten absolutely NO ONE.

Ohh **** it. I'm not going to convince anyone with my comments today. I'm not thinking straight. We from PR are too proud of our fighters I really dont think either of those two are better than Miranda or Pavlik but I can't let people say Tito gets beat by Pavlik. Pavlik may have power but i don't think he could take Tito's punches either.

Why is it you keep trying to make these things equate? We both know that Pavlik, much like Hopkins before him, could easily make LHW. He obviously has power. And he is a pressure fighter. I am every bit the Jones fan your are, but you seem to be holding on to a fighter who is not there anymore.

But he has a very big frame and could add a little bit of muscle and weigh in around 170. His workrate is too much for Roy right now. He has the power to really hurt Jones.

He did fine - but compared to what he was and compared to the present top contenders - he should retire and let people remember him as the #1 p4p he once was...
