I have him 5th on my ATG list. As always ranking a fighter is always subjective but I'd struggle to take anyone seriously who didn't rank him in their top 10.

You posted all that 3 times already. 3 times its been refuted. Posting it again doesn't change the circumstances you ignored , or most likely weren't awae of.

    You idiot

    FACT -- definition
a thing that is known or proved to be true.

1.) Tyson's camp paid Lewis $4 million not to fight
2.) Tyson was stripped of the WBC title in 1996 because he refused to fight Lennox Lewis.

These are FACTS. Yet you "refute" these facts??

    REFUTE -- definition
prove (a statement or theory) to be wrong or false.

You haven't proven these facts to be wrong. You have just attempted to put your little spin on WHY Tysons camp paid Lewis $4 million and WHY Tyson was stripped of the WBC belt.

There is absolutely NOTHING you brought to the discussion that wasn't known. Except the things that you actually got wrong.

Top ten sounds about right. The one guy I think he'd have a really tough time with would be a prime foreman. I think 70's George would knock him out. He'd be a live dog against almost anyone though.

top five. outstanding really, held back in terms of peak stamina by such a massive frame and yet was still able to stay fully conditioned into his late 30s.

Number 3, behind Ali and Louis. Maybe the biggest H2H threat to anyone.

You lost any credibility when you ludicrously claimed Holyfield beat Lewis. Are you Eugenia Williams or kin of hers? :rofl
Lennox won both fights CLEARLY!! First fights "draw" was a robbery Jesse James gang would have been proud of
Lennox was the best HW champ since Ali. No one beats Ali
Lennox beat every man he faced in the pro ring how many can say that !!!!!! ARISE SIR LENNOX !!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, the guy lost all credibility when he created a thread stating Wladimir Klitschko as the greatest heavyweight ever.

He must be some eastern European plumber residing in the UK who re-watches Vitali being TKOd 6.

Lennox had Tyson's number from their days with Cus D'mato as kids. What that guy posted was pure garbage.
Lennox had one fault , he tended to fight to his opponents threat. He wasnt focused on either Rahman or McCall & it cost him big. BUT look at the rematches when he was focused. That shot of Rahman knocked cold with his head perfectly placed in the crown of Kings logo on the canvas was PERFECT

     Arise Sir Lennox

Cheers. I was just wondering about the info when that poster posted that, because I'd never heard it before. In an earlier post, I wrote I believed LL was in the top 5. He might even be higher. He wasn't focused in the 2 fights that he lost, but drug addicted McCall obviously wasn't focused in their rematch. I'm certain focused Lewis decisions focused McCall 9 of 10 times anyway, but obviously the manner in which the rematch transpired was quite bizarre. Having written that, I don't think anybody in history stops or knocks out a right Oliver McCall.

I don't know enough about Louis and Johnson to make an informed comment.

Marciano was tiny in comparison and would be flattened head to head. It'd be seen as an embarrassing mismatch today.

Patterson had the chin of a poet. He'd get caught at some point and knocked out cold.

Liston? Please. He'd be undersized and quickly ground down. He wasn't big enough to impose his style on Lennox.

One eyed undersized Frazier gets taken out too. Good but just unable to compete with a modern era super heavyweight.

Holmes gets marks for longevity but never beat anyone that would suggest to me he beats Lewis. Copy and paste this for Wlad but with his shaky whiskers it's an even easier win for Lennox.

Spinks? Based on what? Beating a shot Ali?

We saw him beat Holyfield twice.

Mike Tyson is the most ridiculously overrated fighter in the history of the sport IMO but that's for another thread and as mentioned wasn't exactly super keen to get in the ring with Lewis until desperate for the money. Any version of Lennox beats any version of Tyson.

Prime Foreman prob matches up best against prime Lewis head to head but most commentators would still go with LL.

Not sure why people hate him so much. It doesn't seem to make sense.
