He is well past his best but would beat Tom Little still. Like you said it's a big drop in levels if true

Better than Allen you say. OP I have something to tell you....Although I do agree in one sense, that droppage looked "spiced up" to me. I personally don't think he was anywhere near as hurt as he made out, in fact he was laughing and smiling and scuffing the young scamp Allen's head a mere minute later.

Listen, Browne has had his day in the British sun, a nice little earner to go back to Perth with and bask in the waterfront bars there for the next 20 years about how he "nearly" became a top-tier contender here. And I wish him all the best with it. But please, let's move on from this now. It's over.

 

He came over here before and smashed up The Towering Inferno. He used to be decent and I like how he comes across. The Browne of five years ago would have beaten Allen.

 

No version of Dave Allen to date would have beaten the Chagaev that Browne beat. That was a good win for Browne.

He was a decent heavyweight with good power. Not the best by any means, but decent.
