And furthermore, does he rank ahead of Trinidad, De La Hoya, Mosley, Wright, and Tszyu?

    Discuss...

His resume is miles ahead of kostya tyszu. I think he ranks ahead of trinidad and mosley to be honest with you. Wins over morales, hamed, kelly, tapia, ayala, mckinney and 8 oter belt holders, he has a deep resume, no doubt about it.

I (personally) rank him higher than everyone you mentioned....but the problem is that DLH's name gets in the way and some people have him very high on atg lists (much like he is still ranked way too high on p4p lists)

I feel that MABs victories and resume is superior to everyone previously mentioned.

I don't think his resume or anyone else's is ahead of DLH's (in this generation). I rank him in the 50-60's or higher usually. I rank Morales higher.

Trinidad is tricky. Great accomplishment as a 3 weight champion. His resume before DLH is lacking, and the version of Whitaker he beat wasn't anything like the one DLH won a controversial decision against.

I rank MAB over the other guys easily.

Some people rank pedroza and olivares ahead of him, personally i think he should rank above both. He was more consistent than olivares and won against better fighter. Morales and hamed are better than basically anyone hes beaten. Olivares also lost to cans/bums, junior jones was a decent beltholder, some of the guys olivares lost to were even a step lower.

I have MAB easily over everybody mentioned. Personally I don't think DLH had an "epic" fight like MAB vs EM did...that's why I have MAB above him. DLH's rise to fame was his victory over Chavez who was aged, battered and just worn out from his legendary fights...

Thats why i never do p4p lists outside the top 20 it is far too hard. Good post and really got me thinking a lot of people when doing these (myself included) lists let the big names creep up the list a bit. but when you dig a little deeper the top end of your list should include more MAB types.
