I'll start off by saying.. nobody beats him undisputedly except for Roy Jones. I think he loses close or wins against any other fighter at the weight.

    How do you feel?

I think Hagler would tear him to pieces, Monzon would brutalise him and stop him and Hopkins would beat him in an 8-4 type of decision.

Jones has some trouble, but wins by stoppage.

Other than that, he's a good match up for anyone, probably rate him top 10 H2H. Great fighter.

I'd buy into any of that with the exception of Monzon. I also think the scores would be tighter if he and Hopkins fought.

Off the top of my head, I'd take Jones, Hagler, Monzon, and Hopkins over Nunn. As well as Toney for obvious reasons. I could also see guys like Bennie Briscoe and Rodrigo Valdez giving him hell. Dick Tiger perhaps, although more than likely, they get outboxed over 12 if it's a peak Nunn. I'd pick Nunn to outbox Gerald McClellan too. Gerald would need to get him early, or else I see Nunn settling into a rhythm, picking McClellan apart with his vastly superior skill set.

He probably ranks somewhere in the lower ends of the top 10, give or take a few spots.

Would love to have seen a fight between Nunn and Hearns.

Hopkins can deal with a moving boxer and once he gets the fight inside, it's a very easy fight for him. Nunn's jab would eventually be picked off.

A standard boxer-puncher gives Hopkins more trouble than Nunn's type, for some reason. Monzon would beat Hagler under this style badly in a 15 rounder because getting inside well enough would be not very likely and even then, Monzon's timing and short punches prevent this.

Nunn can be bullied and roughed up, Hopkins could pick his jab off and take it inside and he's a fabulous inside technition, one of the best around.
