and clearly not shot like so many claim.

    Ring Magazine's current 140 ratings

    1.Bradley
    2.Khan
    3.Maidana
    4.Alexander
    5.Kotelnik
    6.Urango
    7.Judah
    8.Peterson
    9.Ortiz
    10.McCloskey

Does Morales jump up into the top 5 next to Maidana or does Maidana drop a few spots with Morales next to him?

    I'd rank him above;

    6.Urango
    8.Peterson
    9.Ortiz
    10.McCloskey

    He's still shot though.

Shot, the other night was a last hurrah. Not at serious contender at 140.

He's a classy boxer so can look good against a guy like Maidana at times. But he clearly didn't have enough left in the tank to punish him and took long rests.

    Except for Judah ehh?

Actually I think its an intriguing match up. Still favor Judah but its winnable for El Terrible.

like to see him against kotelnik. it would see how he comes with a more technical fighter at the weight.

Morales has been very shot for years.

Maidana was pretty overrated, and Morales had a good night, but he'd get truly schooled by even Amir Khan

Yeah I would be really against a rematch, because if maidana still won what else can morales do that he didnt in the first fight? his power isnt going to get better and he isnt going to get any younger. Maidana may have underestimated him and could work on his stamina and maybe get with a good trainer and try to tighten up his defense a little.

    01. Timothy Bradley
    02. Amir Khan
    03. Devon Alexander
    04. Zab Judah
    05. Marcos Maidana
    06. Erik Morales
    07. Andreas Kotelnik
    08. Lamont Peterson
    09. Juan Urango
    10. Paul McCloskey

That's how I have it.. I moved Ortiz up to the welterweight rankings.. Don't know if he's staying there or coming back down afterwards..

khan would stop morales inside 8, morales at this stage of his career needs to pick his opponents carefull like he did for maidana fight-he will beat urango from top 10(ring) thats it.
