The MW Division was going thru a transition when Nino was champ. He was very marketable, good looks and a exciting style. But some of his most well known victories were over welters that had moved up, Luis Rodriquez & Emile Griffith. He ducked Curtis Cokes per Cokes' Mgr. Then he ran into Carlos Monzon who was too big &strong. I would rate him in the Top 20 of the MW champs
