Hes still only 24, he can come back better and stronger from here if he re-applies himself.

Despite what everyone is saying about him, hes still a fine fighter.
And probably still the 3rd best welterweight in the world.

this fight will always linger the way he headbutted and then basically quit. Great fighters or even really good ones don't quit like that.

Model for Victoria Secret's latest thong. That mafaka is a *****. ****ing hugging and kissing Floyd when he's supposed to make it a street fight by taking Floyd out of his game plan and comfort zone b:patsch

Ortiz has to go back to fighting small fights and earn his way to a title.

Didn't read all the posts but I would love to see a catchweight fight with Brandon (such a 90210 name for a Mexican) Rios. And this is coming from a guy who's hated catchweights since Whitaker got ****ed over by Chavez (and I was rooting for Chavez in that fight). But a rematch with Berto would be cool too. I think Berto took the fight lightly and didn't train right for Ortiz.

Not necessarily, but it is both the easier and more realistic path for him. Either way its really really really difficult for ANYONE to surpass the pound for pound # ATG who had over 200 fights and beat some of the greatest to ever put on the gloves from 135 to 160.

nowadays people think all a guy has to do is beat a few good fighters and he is ATG the best ever. An ATG has to beat other ATG fighters conclusively and have longevity. A great fight or two also helps a resume.

Oh I agree, and if he stays at welter he does need Pac and Pac needs him. But I was saying he could become an atg by moving up and cleaning out 160 which would be a lot more difficult than beating the welterweights but that won't happen its just a fantasy for now.

After the BS he just pulled I hope he gets brutally stretched out again, I wish Berto would've won won the first fight, Floyd would've kicked Berto's ass but atleast Berto would've been a man about it.

Duran quit much more shamelessly than that.

Ortiz was hit by 2 full force shots while not expecting them.

Duran, just said "**** it,I dont want this anymore"

Because Mayweather was mouthing off about giving a rematch so Ortiz was like 'another 2.5mil in the bank?...okay!' :thumbsup
