Everyone wants the Mayweather fight. If not that, there are quite a few more options. I don't want him to retire but with his growing commitments it's likely he won't be here for much longer. Mayweather or Martinez will do just fine.
I think if Bradley beats Alexander and then signs with Arum (his contract with Shaw will expire soon), Pac vs Bradley @ 140 or even 147 would be a great fight.
He should fight the winner of Bradley/Alexander at 140, that's the next best thing right now. It's pointless to keep waiting for Mayweather because he's not going to fight Pacquiao. If Floyd had the "urge" to, the fight would have already happened. Otherwise he should just retire.
Assuming Floyd still wont make a deal or his legal situation dictates he cannot then the top fight out there for me would be Martinez !!!! , providing he beats Williams which i dont think he will .............. Pacquiao should not fight Paul Williams , its a ludicrus size difference that any boxing fan really should not want to see , Williams should be looking at Pavlik if he beats Martinez , or the other top options @54 !!!! Therefore i voted 140 , the only interesting fight for me aside from Martinez would be the Bradley - Alexander winner , Berto is semi interesting as is Saul Alvarez or Mosley , then there is Khan !!! , also interesting - ish .............. 140 for me :good
If he has any sense he will sign with GB , who have Khan , Maidana and Ortiz , not to mention Mosley and Alvarez @47 !!! Then there will be no excuses
If he can't get Mayweather I don't really see the point in him continuing knocking out guys who aren't on that elite level, or going up and fighting bigger and bigger guys. That's in the sense that it won't enhance his reputation or ATG standings. If he's happy to do it and wants the money then great though. He is a phenomenal fighter, I feel lucky to be able to watch him
Personally, I could give two shits about the Mayweather fight. It would be exciting if it happened, but all the drama has completely turned me off. I would rather see Pac drop to JWW and fight Marquez, Kahn and the winner of Bradley vs. Alexnader. Then, if Floyd is around...do that, and if not, then retire and run for president of the PI.
