It's a tough call. He had a chance to establish himself as a force in the Middleweight division, now the thought is moving up to SMW, but then again the competition is much much stiffer and it's not like the weak MW division. It's a tough go for Pavlik and Pavlik fans at the moment.

I mean after a long lay off like he had he picked the wrong fight to try to come back at especially after the way martinez gives people fits. He should go to 168 but that divison is full of athleticism. Guys like Dirrell and Ward will give him fits too.

Pavlik showed a lot more class in defeat this time around but wow, he couldn't pull that trigger on Sergio. I still think he punishes the punisher but I also think Martinez would beat Paul in a rematch. I'd like to see Pavlik/Sturm at 168. I hear Sturm is getting too heavy for 160 like Kelly is.

Pavlik should really consider changing trainers. He hasn't improved or worked on the things he was weak in. You can only go so far with Jack Lowe for crying out loud. But it seems that he really doesn't have enough heart, or is simply burned out on boxing. I am a big Pavlik fan, but maybe it's time Kelly to retire? It's not much of a legacy, but get out while you can before you get real hurt. He could move up to 168, but I don't think he really wants to fight, he wasn't throwing punches and was completely thrown off by the cuts. I know it must be hard to deal with but....... In his corner, he was saying I'm losing and being extremely negative, which was frankly shocking for a Champion to say something like that at all let alone in the 3rd round. All the credit to Sergio, did what he had to do. Was a great win for him. I think Kelly was hungry when he was going for the title, but as with a lot of people when they start seeing a lot of money it can take the fight out of them. Maybe that's what's happened here? Don't know, needs to really sit down and rethink about his career.

    F#CK!

Ahh,just had to get that out of my system...

Great job by Martinez. He boxed very well and did the job.

I knew Martinez would win some early rounds, but thought Pavlik would find Sergio in mid rounds.Pavlik did well in the mid rounds, but lost touch of the fight after Martinez turned it up and cut Pav late.

Pavlik should try and regain his middleweight title. If he should lose the rematch to Martinez, then go up to 168lbs.

    I WAS WRONG...There i said it.
