Well he beat Jermain Taylor and whether you want to admit it or not, JT has done more than guys like alan minter, vito antuofermo, hugo corro, tony zale, rocky graziano and hes better than marcel cerdan and bobo olson. If pavlik makes 5 successfull title defenses, that should put him in the top 10 middleweights of all times. I mean how many times did lamotta, ketchel, cerdan and fullmer really defend the belt, and people like to consider them as greats.

To a lot of people Taylor didnt beat Hopkins or Wright. Thats the reason why Taylor couldnt duck Pavlik if he wanted to. If Pavlik hadnt of knocked JT out, he wouldve been added to the "Bad Decisons" crew too.

Pavliks' record is tops, but he is still pretty darn young, and at this stage of the career, it's too early to tell. See how he does his next match for the defense, and maybe a few after that.

way too early for this kinda question . . . great great win for the young champion - a star is born, he's another win like this away from superstar status.

Lol... Rumsfeld, I swear I love your threads! It's about time to attach words like "mighty" or "demi-god" to Pavlik's name, don't you think? By the way, does Kelly have Polish origins? His name sounds like that. Or is it rather Czech?

You are waaaaaaay over the Top but it's understable, Kelly knocked out both top 160-pounders Taylor and Miranda by the mid-stage as an underdog, he's 25 years old and he's 32-0, 29 KOs, he's looking at the sky right now, I like him, cool, sober, short-spoken, clear-sighted individual, hell of a fighter, wish him plenty of luck and will support him.

Too early to talk about that. So far he has fought and defeated only two tough and rough opponents.

    Way out of line. :yep
