Povetkin - Klitschko would be interesting as well, especially for a 15th pro fight........... I'd like to see how Povetkins career goes after getting the **** knocked out of him by Wlad...
Wait... so Povetkin beats two shot heavyweights who were never great to begin with and pops up to #5? Oh yeah... this is the heavyweight division
well maybe after http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=262&cat=boxer Or if you include Rademacher , the guy was a contender before he'd even fought pro
I'm Valuev's fan but I think he have very slim chances against Povetkin. Alex is a worst style of opponent for Nikolay - fast ellusive boxer. Valuev won't able to hit him. Povetkin VERY wide UD. Fortunately, Sautherland does not have a habbit of putting his fighters in a ring together.
1. Wlad 2. Chag 3. Sultan 4. Povetkin 5. Maskaev 6. Peter 7. Valuev 8. Thompson 10. Gomez Byrd is a better opponent in my book that Toney or Mcline, and Sam Peter is arguabley 1-2 in three fights agaisnt those guys accept for bad decisions. So Povetkin ranks ahead of Peter in my book. Maskaev hasn't fought in over a year, and at 37 years old, riding the injury train, with an interum champion named, I am not convinced he is coming back, and don't know how good he'll be if he does. Besides, Rahmen is comparable opponent to all the rest mentioned at this time. For the moment, I disregard that WBC belt entirely.
That's right . . . and that's how desperate these stupid people are. :yep :rofl The guy with 14 fights is their # 5 TOP Heavy weight. Rated higher than Valuev who has 47 fights with only 1 loss; Peter 29 fights only 1 loss. :huh :-(
I would think win over 37 year old Byrd has him just outside the top ten. Like the song "I hear you knocking but you can't come in..." Needs more than 14 pro fights but so far so good.
Peter has only one loss because of the vagaries of the judges. He is argualby 1-3 against world class competition. To put it even more bluntly, he stinks and some of us always knew it. Valuev, while I like the man, is a similar story, with wins against Donald and Ruiz that most fans do not agree with. This is the same Donald, by the way, that Povetkin shut out. We are neither desperate nor stupid. we see things differently, perhaps more clearly.
Really? More clearly? :think  Have you seen Povetkin's name inside the TOP 10 of any boxing body? Don't tell me that crap buddy, Peter "stinking" is a bull**** arguement. What if all the top ten fighters stinks? Then you'll put Povetkin as your number 1 TOP heavy? My . . . ass! :rofl What has Povetkin proved and accomplished in 14 fights that shows he deserves better ranking than a fighter with 47 fights?
You are right, razor! Based on skills and not on fight records he for sure is the present nr.2 at heavy weight. Ibragimov is no match for him,Chagaev too slow,Peter too clumsy and too slow,Virchis too limited,Golota wouldnt last more than 3 rounds with Povetkin, and so on and so on.
You're right.... you have to beat a great heavyweight like Tyson, Holyfield or Lewis or you're a fraud to be in the top10. Only on ESB!
