And you think putting a guy with only 14 PRO fights at the top five of a division makes more sense than the ALPHABET bodies' rankings? :think

Oviously, since we do not take money for ratings.

Sir, perhaps we have gotten off ont he wrong foot. I do not wish insult you. But I am neither desperate, stupid, moronic, or any other adjective you could come up with.

I am making the simple point that Povetkin fights often, and wins cleanly, with a couple of those wins now against name opposition. That is more than can be said about many of the men you rank above him.

The guy has a very good potential but it's just not logical to put anybody who has merely 14 fights on a TOP 5 of any division higher than the other fighters who has shown up more and fought more. Irregardless how convincing he disposed of his last opponent.

Separate the HYPE from the facts.

Ring doesn't take money for it's ranking either. :yep

Well, if we are talking about some sort of hypothetical literal ranking, then I accept your point.

What I am saying is that to me, right now, Povetkin walks in the ring and beats most of these guys ranked ahead of him.

I have no disagreement with that buddy . . . the guy has really impressed me a lot and I'm gonna be following him from now on. :yep

But too early to put him up there . . . I want him him to fight at least 2 more big names in the top ten . . . and maybe I'll be one of those rooting for him to be at number 4 or 5. :good

What the F are you talking about? He is build like a small tank and can keep it up for 12 at a pace most heavies can not sustain for a round.

Dug out some old Ring copies and take a hard look. This top 10 is just fine, unless you are a biased U.S. cheerleader.
