Where does the knockout punch land?

    Temple or jaw, although I think the one on the temple doesn't have to be as hard. You have to move the jaw, you don't have to move the temple.

    Oh, I didn't read the first post. Just thought it was a hypothetical.

    The punch that KO'd RJJ from GJ was on the temple, maybe even a little bit higher, actually. It looks high when you see it land.

    it was to the temple area but Jones didnt really see it either which is why it did as much damage it was a flush right hand.

    right on the point of the jaw - it causes maximum trauma to the brain stem

    oh i thought we were talking about ko punches in general

    in this case it seems the temple/cheek area

    a shot to the ear can throw the equilibrium off too...but i think it hurt Jones more because he mentally expected it to hurt...ability to take shots is also mental...
