Where does the saying( put him on ***** street) come from?

    I see alot of people saying and im just wondering. I was just watching that Ko's of the year vid and somebody said it.

    Where does it come from. I see alot of people saying it cause other people say it.

    It mostly is a way old saying having nothing to do with gays. It generally means "put in a difficult place"

    It's a term that has been around for around 15 years. When Floyd used to beat up his opponents, he would take them home afterwards and console them in the only way he knew how.

    Pretty soon, anyone who was getting beaten up in a fight was "going to Floyd's place" which changed over time to "put on ***** street"

    KFC Colonel Bob Sheridan took it to a new level during Foreman-Norton when he said "Norton is in Queersville".

    Tyrone Everett said in reference to him winning 10-11 rounds against Alfredo Escalera but losing the decision, "I made him suck my dick".

    I believe him, but I think he left out the part when he made Alfredo wear a wig and a dress first.

    A quick google search reveals it was originally used in the context of describing someone in financial trouble.

    it was used more years ago than now. Sugar Ray Leonard used to use that saying a lot and so did Hearns. Not said much now. Don't know why.
