Where does this leave Usyk?

Maybe he will have to prove himself against an actual decent heavyweight and push his case that way.

 

Usyk should concentrate on Chisora and nothing else at this moment.

 

This leaves Usyk completely unproven and needing to fight a world class heavyweight. So nothing has changed

 

I'm a big Usyk fan, but he needs to beat a name at HW (like Chisora) before we start claiming him as the heir apparent to anyone.

 

I still hear people say Crawford is unproven at welterweight. Usyk will get his shot at a belt but I don't consider him a defacto top 5 heavyweight because he cleaned out the division underneath it. Everyone has to prove they belong that's just my opinion

 

He is not more than 6' 3"-since that is his listing, & these are often rounded up-but I *totally* agree with your premise.
If this is the case most all of the ATGs before Tyson were "scrawny".
That is a joke-that we must have or root for those who are massive. And often unlike say "Saint Primo", because they cheat & lie their way to the top with PEDs.

 

I would be happy to watch said fight just as I would be happy to watch Usyk/Fury or Usyk/Joshua. I still think Usyk has to prove he belongs with the top crop of heavyweights. I don't see what's unfair about that

 

good fight for usyk first fight at heavyweight. good opponent some one you have to train for. because if chisora can compete at a high level one more time it can be a scrap. the question to me is can chisora chin hold up? chisora been knocked out couple of times and i can see it happening again. usyk is to sharp and accurate . chisora at his best prolly still couldnt touch usyk but chisora still may be a threat sense hes a bigger guy and hes pretty good but hes been knocked out a couple of times and in some real bangers it takes a toll on you. a few years ago before the whyte fights usyk could prolly beat him in a decision back then as well. go usyk hes a beast

 

Usyk should be smart and not do what whyte did and take a fight he doesnt need to, hes wbo mandatory and should just wait to fight for the belt.
