I feel Fury would have landed more shots on Douglas than he landed on Wilder because Wilder can often be dangerous on the counter because of his reach, Douglas was floored by a Rooney less Mike over committing with his jab, Wilder would have finished Mike that night far quicker than Buster did.
Wilders output isn't enough to beat THAT Tyson down like Douglas did, he hasn't Douglas selection of shots either although he has got better..
His straight right is far better than Buster`s right cross was v Mike, the punch he knocked Stiverne out with split through the guard it was the perfect right hand and the right hand that caught Breazale would have sparked Tyson who`s defense was awful v Buster.
Dear god, lower than 20, OF COURSE. Beating the litany of stiffs, mediocrities and overrated, aging beltholders certainly does NOT qualify this FRAUD for discussion in any top 20 list of any kind -- except perhaps top padded records of all time, highest number of tomato cans fought, biggest overrated frauds in history, etc. etc. I can't believe the absurd hype this con artist gets. Can't wait until he fights a real live body and is destroyed.
Very very few could beat him, literally a handful of guys could get closer enough to land what would be needed and without getting crushed coming in. I know of 5 that could beat him on any given night as he could to them. Not more than 5,6 counting Fury as a possible upset which couldn't ever happen now that DW figured Fury out. But he has the ability as does about 5 others from the entire history of the sport
Tyson ate flush shots from monster punchers through out his career, better punchers than Wilder, and never got dropped unless it was a sustained beating
He got up and won the rest of the round v Wilder, Wilder had his chance to follow up, where was it ?? He actually was hurt by Fury too and wanted to hold
Nobody in history has thrown a harder shot than the punch Wildder hit Breazale with in a boxing ring and Wilder would throw far more shots than Ruddock did v Tyson.
Wilder himself has thrown harder shots The uppercut against Ortiz The right hand against Spizlla The right hand against Liakahovich And other none wilder punches which were harder Klitschkos left hook on Pulev Frazier's left hook on both Ali and Foster Foreman's right hand against Moorer Shaver's uppercut on Norton Lewis's Right hand on Rahman I could go on as well. And that's just HWs
I'm not even sure he beats the current top 10 or so. Joshua Fury Whyte Ortiz (a second time) Parker Ruiz Takam Usyk Chisora Whyte Pulev Povetkin Joyce So I don't know how anyone has him down as an ATG. I mean sure he could beat them all but I also reckon they all can outbox him if he doesn't land so... He needs to beat half a dozen of the above to considered an ATG. He lost to a fat fury and beat an Ortiz that 1. nearly beat him, 2. Is old as **** and 3. Hasn't fought anyone decent himself to know how good he actually is.
