No ATG would ever get floored by some random like Henry Cooper
No ATG would ever go life and death with Bert Cooper
No ATG would ever go life and death with Tony Galento
No ATG would ever get KO'd by Buster frickin Douglas
No ATG would ever get one-shotted ... twice ... by non-ATG guys
No ATG would have a losing record to Willie "fat boy" Meehan
No ATG would go life and death with Old Man Walcott

    etc ...

Find another sport to follow :deal

Clay didn't go life and death with Cooper. He went down off a kracking left hook- came back in te next round and whopped Cooper to a stoppage.

No ATG would run for their life against Cooper and hold so badly to the point where they deserve a DQ loss.
An ATG would give back to Cooper worse than he ever dished out and batter him unmerciful to a stoppage .

Again , Louis did not run for his life, hold and foul to survive. Louis rose up and went straight at Galento , beating him to to pulp.
Peter was worse than Galento- Because Wlad is not a great - he cowerd, ran , held and cheated .

Anybody who knows boxing , knows Douglas had all the tool to be a great and produced an authentic ATG level performance that night.

You can't say the same about Sanders who shattered Wlad easily in just two rounds.

Rahman and MaCall were better than Sanders , Brewster , Peter and Purrity.
Lewis done what greats do and KO's Rahman in an immediate rematch.
Wlad done what non-grets do and ducked the immeadiate rematch against Sanders and waited till Peter and Brewster were washed up.
To make matters worse , he fought a finished Peter worse than than he did the first time.

Irrelevant. 4 round fights in the 1910's have no bearing on champions today.

Wlalcott is a genuine ATG and hall of famer. Greats lose to other greats. Marciano beat that ATG.
What ATG did Wlad ever beat?

He's for a while now been just outside my top 10 but in retrospect now that his reign has ended I have him squeaking in at 9th place.

His length of reign was one of the most impressive, though of course the early losses and the level of opposition he faced as champion have to be factored in so despite his dominance he can't be ranked as highly as the other champions who had lengthy reigns.

LOL if Outstock's English weren't better, I'd say that he's Herol's new alt.

I know form experience that dedicated haters are just that, so I'm not going to bother engaging with his laughable points. Every champion has a few crud fights, it's a fact of life. Lewis getting KO's by Rahman and then avenging the loss is OK, but the fact that Wlad actually beat Peter twice and Brewster as well doesn't seem to register.

It's pretty clear that there are double standards at play here.

The poll, however, shows that Outstock is a minority opinion.

    :hi:

I respect your opinion mate, but I just don't understand the thinking behind it.

If he beats Fury, you'd have him top 10. That's cool. But why would you then move him up 7 places if he was to beat Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua? Do you mean in time, depending on how their careers turn out?

As yet, Wilder has done hardly anything. He beat Stiverne who only had the belt because it was vacant against Arreola, and he's struggled in every fight since, apart from his great knockout of Szpilka.

Everyone is hyped about Joshua. And that's fair enough, he looks exciting. But like Wilder, he's done nothing yet. He's only wearing a belt due to politics. At the moment, we don't even know how good he is.

Finally, what would be great about Wlad beating Wilder, if Wilder had already lost to Povetkin?

If he would have beaten exactly same people dominating fashion without losing to Fury he would still have much to prove to crack in top 10 list for most people.

I have him just outside of the top10.

If he can take the belts back from Fury at this age, he'll enter it for sure.

then u'd be returded, since a new alt wouldn't have a join date of 2013.

K.S.D.O.A, you ruin your own post with its own content yet again mate.

That doesn't make sense to me.

He's already beaten Povetkin and Wilder has done nothing as yet.

    Neither has Joshua.
