My logic is, and always has been, that if a fighter dominates an era, he can become great.

Now pay attention "itsa huge *****", ok? Because I'm tired of morons like you ignoring what I have said. Marciano retired 49-0 and beat great fighters. Wlad won 40 odd fights and got destroyed by Sanders and Brewster.

There's a slight difference in the two cases. If you have read what I've said, which I think you have but you're too stupid to understand, you'd know why the cases are different.

I haven't and never will fault Wlad for fighting in a weak era. It's something he can't control. However, unlike Holmes, Marciano etc., Wlad has not completely dominated his era. He's dominated in recent years but he's lost to fighters he should have walked through.

If 80% of the general forum disagree, good. A ridiculous 33% think Wlad is a top 10 heavyweight, so I have no interest in pandering to the majority. I think every single person who seriously thinks Wlad is a top 10 heavyweight, is either ignorant, biased or simply lacking intelligence.

Actually, I think an argument can be made that Wlad hasn't dominated in recent years seeing as he hasn't beaten the second best HW in the world during that time.

I think thats a fair point. I don't expect Wlad to fight his brother but there is obviously no argument to say "Wlad has fought all the best opponents". Povetkin, the third best, has also evaded him. Valuev, who would have been a significant win, is another fight which should have happened but didn't.
