Let's get the facts straight people.

A prime Wlad got his ass kicked by a fat golfer, Lamon "Who?" Brewster, and a journeyman.

    Nuff said.

No,you've missed the point: they hadn't ever been stopped by anyone else.

Why didn't Lennox stop more opponents who had never been previously stopped?

I think some of your so-called ATGs wouldn't have been able to stop the iron-chinned Chagaev, the durable Thompson or the elusive Chambers.

At age 17 in 1997, Chagaev defeated Felix Savon, who had KOed David Tua in the 1991 world amateurs (Savon won Gold for Cuba in the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympics).

Ruslan had never been down as an amateur or as a pro before Wlad knocked him down. He won Gold at super heavyweight at Belfast in 2001, the year Solis KOed your hero Haye at heavyweight.

But because of your irrational, obsessive hatred for Wlad, you'll just say all his opponents were no good.

So? They got stopped against the first hard hitting opponent they fought.

The only proof that is, is that too many fighters today have padded records and they do. Look at how Kevin Mitchell, John Murray and Kell Brook padded their records for years without stepping up. It happens all the time in boxing these days.

At the moment he's definitely top 20 for me and maybe even top 15. If he continues to dominate for years to come and retires as champion he could break the top 10 but he will probably never break the top 5, his level of opposition simply isn't good enough.

He has clearly improved since those early losses but those losses do effect his legacy. You can overlook the one early loss as that happens to even the greats. Louis, Dempsey and Lewis all had early losses that they learnt from and then became better fighters.

But they quickly learnt from their mistakes unlike Wlad who had 4 years after the Purrity loss to learn from his previous mistakes. Wlad went on to mess up against Sanders and even that second loss wasn't enough for him to make the changes he needed to, as he once again gassed out just like in the Purrity fight against Brewster. So he had almost had 6 years between gassing against Purrity and Brewster yet had not learnt a thing.

Wlad had well over a hundred amateur fights culminating in the Olympic title. He had over 40 fights as a pro before losing to Sanders and Brewster. To say he was still learning to fight with that much experience is stretching the truth. He hadn't peaked but he was in his physical prime and had plenty of experience including his career best win against Byrd.

Wladimir admits him and vitali experimented when they were younger......but they didnt like it........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    Loosely translates to

the rumors about me and my brother is crazy. we're not gay. when we read these things in the tabloids me and my brother just laugh. vitali and i experimented a bit in our late teens but it's normal for young people to be curious in sexual matters. we tried it and we didn't like it and it was a long , long time ago. just two young men exploring and trying new things. my brother and i love women and we are totally heterosexual.

Again, your are revealing yourself to be an irrational hater.

Chagaev fought people like Felix Savon, who KOed David Tua, and Virchis, who punched harder even than Wlad. He KOed the durable Robert Hawkins with his jab.

You claim to be an expert on boxing history, and yet you're not aware that boxers have ALWAYS padded their records? Look at the the early opponents of these fighters:

    Larry Holmes: Harold Darlington (1-19-1)
    Lennox Lewis: Andred Gerrard (11-30)
    Riddick Bowe: Anthony Hayes (0-6)
    Mike Tyson: Larry Sims (3-16)
