Wlad has achieved great things. I have never denied that. However he has never established himself as the best heavy of his era like others before him did. I understand that he and Vitali don't want to fight each other, and I don't think it should be held against them, but when looking back you can't just say "the Klitschkos dominated that era"... they are two completely seperate fighters.

If Holyfield and Bowe were brothers and they never fought each other in their eras yet there was a legion of nuthuggers saying that Bowe dominated his era there would rightly be a vast number of people saying "well hold on a minute, he never ven proved he was number 1 by beating Holyfield."

Anyway, Wlad and Vitali's resumes are plain weak.

Wlad's is better then Vitali's because he actually beat the better fighters he ever faced, whereas Vitali lost to both of them and then started crying afterwards.

Of course Wladimir has established him self as no. 1. He beat every contender he needed to he Unified the divison. Only needs the WBC belt..
    What more do you want?
What if Vitali had not comeback from his injury? Had Wladimir then been no. 1???

And not their fault the divison is so weak that their records are so bad. But come on. Lennox Lewis records is not better at all. His era was weak aswell.

And Vitali did not loose those fights?? Against Byrd he fought in extreme pain. You should try that. And against Lewis the ref. stopped the fight. Not his fault he never got the rematch.

Gues Lewis only wants remacth against people he did not win against.

Byrd vs. Vitali has developed into a one sided mismatch over the years. People who have actually seen the fight, acknowledge it wasn't an easy night for Vitali but so many people seem to think Vitali was pitching a shut out. He clearly wasn't.

Vitali didn't dominate Byrd like his brother did and he could never get the finish Ibeabuchi did in 100 fights.

Yeah his nuthuggers first claim it was a shutout. Then when I ask them to post their scorecard they say Byrd won "one or two" rounds.. then when I further push them they completely dissapear.

Here's a thread from the classic (probably the most fair unbiaseded forum on the net). Read it (from post #40).

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=325167

You will notice on this thread serial Klit nuthugger Mendoza admitting that Vitali got KOd by a kick from Pele Reid, yet these days on ESB there seems to be a legion of nuthuggers that deny it ever happened.

It should also be noted that Vitali had a full training camp preparing for Razor Ruddock, whereas Chirs Byrd took the fight on 7 days notice.

It was a one-sided mismatch. Byrd clearly won only a single round. He acknowledged himself that there was not much he could do in that fight and he was surprised and stunned when the fight was stopped.

Well, the past few years the heavyweight division has basically been "the Klitschko division". They have completely dominated all their opponents in recent years.
