Come on, the guy lost one fight, 10lbs above his 'usual' weight and against a legend. I've mentioned for a while now that he is well over rated - but that said - he's exciting to watch.

I don't get the problem with losing your '0' these days. This is why top fights are so long in the waiting!

It will return. He just got beat.

But Pavlik's a good, honest fighter who will be back.

This is the answer you wanted, right? It wasn't just a stupid, sarcastic way to start a thread, I sure.

Loses against an all time great while doing it above his weight and now he should be shamed?

He never went anywhere--he still rules the middle division and will continue to do so for years to come.

It went the same place as the Hatton hype-train went and where the Haye hypetrain is headed.

Slightly different case. Hatton had to beat a past-peak but still top four P4P fighter to launch what you consider a 'hypetrain' whereas Pavlik's was ended by losing to such a fighter.

Hatton hype-train? There were 56,000 of them at his comeback fight.

That **** was derailed emphatically, via a face first smash into the turnbuckle.
