This kid hasnt fought since june of last year. I saw alot of potential in this kid from the day I first saw him fight. He is also trained by the great Beristain. A fighter this young should be fighting every 2 months or so. He has the skills to be a p4p star ala JMM. I hope nothing bad happened to him. He is also in a very interesting weight class.
He was training to fight Penalosa on the Pac/hoya undercard but got seriously injured during sparring.... I forgot what kind of injury it was but it was supposed to be some career ending injury..... I hope not but that was the word at the time.... Ever since he went under professor Ignacio Beristain, he was turning into a complete fighter... Daym this isn't good....
I hope you're wrong. I was really looking forward to watching this kids future. I think he is the most talented Mexican fighter.
Im hope im wrong too.. He was developing so well and this setback is going to affect him... Oh well though, Freddy just confirmed it that he's coming back.. I would love to see Darchinyan/Mares
