Where is all the vitriol, Canelo wins the middleweight title and it already seems he is going to pull a ***** move. Its OK for him to drag up Jr Welters and welters in the past, but wants a catch-weight of 155 for the G-man As big as he is, there is no excuse not to fight GGG at 160. Not a single thread on this forum calling him out on this after weeks and weeks of hearing what a ***** Cotto was supposedly ducking GGG. The double standards around here are obvious. Am I not seeing the forest for the trees, or is senility creeping in, thoughts/opinions
It's a few threads about it, but people are mostly waiting to see what the WBC says about it. The double standard thing is always the safe route around here and also conveniently forgetting what you said a thread ago is standard too. Examples: Before May 2nd 2015: "Manny Pacquiao is a 8 division world champion." (Mostly all titles won above 135 were at catchweights.) After May 2nd entering the GGG bandwagon: "Anybody fighting at a catch weight is a fraud and their belts don't count."
Canelo should be worried about the IBF and the same day weigh in rule. If he want GGG's IBF belt, he cannot gain more than 10 lbs the next day. I doubt fat boy can do it if he comes in below 160. At 160, at least he'll have a chance to make weight.
when pac fought oscar, oscar was bigger than him. when he fought margarito, margarito was bigger than him. when he fought cotto, cotto only had to lose a pound more from his last fight. he was 145 versus pac, 146 in the fight before that. people just hating
Pack bogus weight classes didn't count either. Canelo is encouraged by the two divas before him, to milk his popularity and send a giant **** you to he sport.
Ay, it was for the 147 belt and the 154 belt. If it's B.S. for 1 it's B.S. for all. All that Pacquiao is small stuff is void if Pac-Man's skills were really up to par. The first fight he ever had at the full 147 was against Mayweather because him and Arum had 0 control.
