I honestly was very wrong, Maidana was literally a young hungry lion and the thing i overlooked was how good he reacts to being clinched
I ate some crow. I didn't think Maidana could impose himself THAT well. I did say he would push the action, but lose 9-3. I sadly didn't see the fight, but it seemed Maidana won more than 3 rounds.
The thing is, anyone who has any success against Mayweather or makes him uncomfortable is going to make waves because of how he usually performs. Also, Floyd is always going to get the best of his opponent, no one is going to go into a fight against Floyd taking him lightly. Maidana brought his A game and it proved to be an entertaining fight. But the right man won and that's all she wrote.
