That fat motha****a haven't fought since december when he faced Sergei Liakovich. Where is he? Is he training hard or eating burgers, donuts etc? I expected a lot of him, he seemed good contender. When is his next fight?
Ruiz Jr was supposed to fight back in March in China, but the opponent pulled out of the fight...!!! last I heard, he was in Big Bear California training, and has actually gotten in better shape...!!!
Until he gets himself in shape who cares. Unlike Arreola, Ruiz Jr actually has talent, far better punch technique and speed but he's in even worse shape than the likes of Arreola and Solis. Nobody will take him seriously until he takes it seriously.
Broke his hand early in the Liakovich fight and had his comeback fight yanked b/c the opponent canceled. He'll be back later this year on an Arum card Im fairly sure. :think
He's been training for a while....I asked him a few weeks back if he had any opponents in mind, to which he said he was just focused on training and would let his management figure the rest out. Apparently hes shed some pounds too
