Does anyone have an idea? :huh

He has not fought since February, and we are now officially into October and he has no fight scheduled!

This could easily have been Flores' big year. He prepared himself for 2008 nicely with a 20-0-1 record, beating contenders Patrick Nwamu and (Heavyweight) Frank Walker to earn a title eliminator.

In February he beat his first top 10 opponent in Darnell Wilson, and he was the hottest thing at Cruiserweight (even according to David Haye), but he has not fought since.

He trained to fight in August but his bout was canelled at the last minute. He was also not signed for Contender (probably because they could not afford him).

Flores can still prevent the rest of this year from going to waste, but he needs to get back in the ring soon, and fight someone, anyone..

Good question. You'd think that he'd want to get in on the action since I doubt the fight vs Ding was a huge payday and he could've probably lined himself up for a title shot by now.

I've been wondering the same thing about Brian Vera (sans the title shot)- he upsets Andy Lee in brutal fashion in March, declines a rematch because he wanted to chase a bigger money fight...and nearly 7 months later Lee's already had a bounceback fight and there hasn't been a peep about Vera's next move.

Firat Arslan would be a potentially good test. What do you think?

That would be really cool! I know you're at ins with the Godfrey camp, and these two were rumoured to fight this year.

It would be awesome if that fight were to come off.

But back to the topic, where in the world is Mr. Flores at...

I think you are right, that would be a good fight.

Not the fight I would take if I were Flores' manager, as BJ is gonna be rusty as hell and Arslan has a rock for a head...but if he took a tune-up he would be primed to beat Arslan in a tough fight, probably by TKO.

    Yep no luck there. :good

Tank is on the inside when it comes to some of the US Cruiserweights, hopefully he gets us the scoop. Meanwhile let's hope somebody has heard something! :!:
