It's hard to believe that Warren's being pulling the "winner gets a shot at a world title" crap for nearly two years now. ****- Danny "Chicken Balti Bomber" Williams was supposed to get a shot at Valuev for being Fraudley back in 2005!
Not Macca, even if I do actually consider him the better cruiserweight. He simply doesn't have the body frame for heavy, he'd just end up VERY flabby.
totally he looks way to flabby going to heavywieght wont give him any advantages...haye does becuase it will give him better stamina and power...even speed , remember mosley going to welterwieght from lightwieght. he became much faster and hit harder.
i'd be worried for haye against skelton. skelton has proven he's got a good chin, and despite him looking out of shape, he has been 12 rounds a few times. Could see haye winning 7 or 8 rounds straight, but if he still has the stamina issues when moviung up to heavy, then i think he'd be in big trouble against someone like skelton going into the latter rounds. especially if skelton has to go for broke. he's the kind of crude fighter that would just come out swinging.
Warren didnt even put Skelton in a fight with Maskaev, when it was offered. That is how much confidence he has in Skelton's ability.
i find it hard to belivee skelton would let himself be jabbed at length all night. the type of fighter he is, with his limited skill set, he would force himself onto haye. he'd obviously leave himself open to shots, but imo he's proven his chin is probably his best asset. granted it's quite possible haye would just spark him out given the crudeness of skeltons attack, he'd certainly have lots of chance to do so. but if skelton can get through once then it could be game over. as someone else said, is it really worth the risk? internationally he'd gain nothing from beating skelton. i'd still back haye to win, but skelton could end up making him look very bad indeed.
i dont really think anyone does enjoy his fights. though the first williams fight was pretty good as heavyweight fights go.
