Has this lad got an injury or something?

No fight since March and I can't see one scheduled.

If he is injured, when is he expected back?

Not injured, just Hayemaker Promotions have no TV deal since Setanta went bust. Only now have they started announcing plans for a couple of non-TV shows where Woodhouse and Groves will feature.

A big shame, as Price is probably missing out the most due to the TV situation.

Not a very good start to his career.

Yeah after the TV deal collapsed they haven't scheduled, so they are all pretty much on the sidelines at the moment.

He saw Tyson Fury fight on tv and decided to retire.

Plus being with Hayemaker does not help the lad.

They held non-tv shows before Setantas collapse.

I'd imagine big daves getting some good honest sparring. Whilst helping with Hayes preparations for Valuev.

I guess he's considered retirement with that chin of his.

    I know, I went to one:D

But my point is that they haven't had any shows since Setanta collapsed. And its only took them until the last few days to announce Groves at the York Hall and Woodhouse and the KC stadium.

Theoretically they could have been running these shows now, and in the past couple of months to allow Price, Groves, Woodhouse and the like to get some action. Presumably everybody has been too busy trying to sort out a TV deal for Hayemaker that they simply "forgot" to run some non-tv shows in the meantime.

I'd be really worried for Hayemaker promotions now. Derry Matthews has gone, Craig Watson was loaned out to appear on a Hatton show and it can't be long before others get cold feet and decide to move on. Say Ryan Rhodes beats Moore in that final eliminator. He'll be the number 1 contender for a world title for a promoter without a TV deal. Nobody deserves the lack of treatment that Clinton Woods for example got the other week. And when Price sees the business that Jeffries, Sutherland and FW's Olympians are doing will he be happy sitting about and sparring for the next few months?

Hayemaker is a joke at the moment. Haye is interested im himself which is right and only set up the company because he thought he could make a few bob. I feel sorry for the team at Hayemaker and the redundant figters.

I raised this a few months back. Just because Hayemaker don't have a TV deal doesn't mean he can't fight. He's at a crucial stage of his career and needs rounds.

They just don't start these guys off like they used to. Fury is going the right way about things.

Haye should be ashamed of himself for what he has done for Price so far. Even if you can't get TV dates then you can still make non-televised cards that have some worth.

Small cards where Groves and Price face average guys would be okay. Put it in york hall or even their hometowns.

Haye and Booth might not have the time for their fighters. If not then they need to do what DLH did and bring in someone like Schafer to help.

I hope a TV deal gets sorted sooner rather than later so that Price and the rest of the Hayemaker stable can get get back in the ring. Through no fault of their own (or Hayemakers!) some promising and exciting fighters are being held back.

At the time of the Setanta collapse, I think John Watson came out and said that they were expecting to be out of action for 6 months or so.
