This content is protected Cold feet, the reality has set in. Funny I didn't think Whyte would shrink till fight night but he's pulling an AJ and is absolutely TERRIFIED. How does Fury do it? His mental warfare is too strong. If Whyte pulls out they need to get Wallin in on the job. rematch.
WBC now losing patience as well it seems, they've given him until the 21st of Feb to sign this contract - which in my opinion is too leniant anyway. Whyte has been asking for this fight for months/years, why the hell does he need another 3 ****ing weeks to decide? It's pathetic.
Then he’s a useless freeloader. He should be promoting the fight to get as many people interested as possible, but instead he’s relying on Fury to do all the promotion. But I guess he knows he’s nobody compared to Fury, hence the silence.
Just think it's petty as **** if Whyte and his team don't think they need to help with the promotion. Surely it helps all parties to make the fight as big as possible.
He should stop being a greedy turd and just sign it. The current heavyweights are the biggest prima donna's in boxing. It's absolute ridiculous, none of them seem to want to fight.
If I’m Dillian Whyte I say nothing unless obligated, I stay in my training camp and wait until the deadline to sign the contract. Let everyone think it’s not happening and you don’t want it.
It seems Tyson Fury has this effect on some people - he's brought out the frightened rabbit in Whyte! I remember when David Haye chickened out of a fight with Fury.
Its funny that he had plenty to say before the **** got reall... Cough cough "contract cough cough "legal"... Could still be saying stuff he has been saying plenty while the legal stuff has been going on... No he has thrown the toys out with then bath water.. Too much Eddie kool aid been drunk and he actually thinks he is a bigger star than reality dictates...
Some of Whyte's antics since Povetkin 2: - Called for a shot Povetkin trilogy(!) after stopping the medically unfit OAP inside 4 rounds - Subsequently called out Jermaine "10 rounds with Pavel Sour" Franklin and 40.5 year old, 2 loss streak, injury prone journeyman Arreola - Called out Wallin, who accepted the fight in Britain. Whyte pulled out with a "shoulder injury" 10 days prior and didn't reschedule the fight - Was willing to step aside for Fury to fight Usyk provided he was paid £5 million: less than he would receive in a world title fight with Fury It's consistent with his past behaviour: turning down a final eliminator with Pulev in Bulgaria, calling out shot Haye after Bellew had KO'd him for a second time, turning down a multi-million pound world title fight with AJ etc. Then again, this is a guy whose best wins are going life and death with Parker and Chisora x2 (with plenty of help from the officials each time) and who got starched by prospect AJ and shot Povetkin. A title fight with Fury as the B-side for 18% of the purse might not pass a cost-benefit considering the beating he's likely to receive, even though it would be a career high purse for Whyte and (in theory) a huge opportunity, maybe the only one for a world title he's going to get now.
