This post is predicated on the idea that it might in Whytes character to be a humble, not a loud-mouth, and someone "lets his fists do the talking". He has never shown this historically. Look with your eyes, this isnt about whether or not he entertains the masses for the sake of it, it's about the fact he doesn't act like this when he believes he's going to win. If the behaviour (silence) he's demonstrating was inline with Whyte's character then you'd have a point, but as it stands he looks like he's running scared.
Changing of tact doesn't mean he is " running scared" . Take Steve Collins vs Eubank. Collins previously never tried antics did against Eubank. Just because Whyte constantly trash talked Wilder and Ruiz to attempt to goad them to fight doesn't mean Whyte always does it. For example Whyte didn't trash talk Povetkin,, Parker or Rivas.
