One a day? I wish. Schlongmaster used to do 3-4 GGG threads a day and he'd have done more if he could have. Thank goodness he's done and dusted.
Same here. GGG didn't have the machine (A side) behind him like Canelo. That infamous quote was desperation on Abel's part. No one fights a "boogeyman" until they smell weakness or decline.
He's clearly in no hurry to schedule a fight. The only way to put him in the ring again is to give him a nice payday against someone he can actually beat. If nothing comes up, he'll keep waiting.
I admit 100% that I have absolutely no time for Floyd. In my book he's just a manufactured champion, without the blatantly obvious "help" he received he would have been done for long ago. Margarito was the man to do it. As for Antonio Margarito , a man I first met over 20 years ago, I am convinced, had Floyd had the stones to fight him,Tony would have done a Cotto on him only easier Tony would laugh at Floyds pitty pats. As my all time hero said " he can run but he cannot hide" What happened to Tony was a big black eye for boxing
People always bring up "GGG ducking Ward" but it seems Ward get a pass for not cleaning both divisions he fought in. Prior to being #1 at Super Middleweight he claimed that Bute was one of the best and even if not in the Super 6 the champions had to fight him to settle who was #1. When he won the Super 6 he suddenly used every excuses in the books to avoid him, and when Froch knocked him out he used that as proof that Bute was unworthy of a fight against him. Weight drained Dawson and had a gift against Kovalev. Light Heavy was one of the hottest division back then, with Stevenson, Beterbiev, Smith Jr and Gvozdyk all dominant or up and coming but as soon as he got a belt he retired. That seems fine for most members of the board.
wait wait wait... when you mean do a Cotto on him, you mean the whole loaded gloves playbook? No sir, not with Money Mayweather.
