David Haye needs to rest

Wlad didn't set any deadline. The deadline was set by the IBF. They said Wlad has to find a deal with Haye's camp using the IBF's exception for a title unification until then or the IBF would allow Povetkin to take his mandatory shot.

Obviously Haye had zero interest in boxing Wlad so he just went into hiding until the IBF's deadline expired. Haye hopes the problem just "goes away" by itself.

 

Haye acts in this situation like an ostrich that hides its head in the sand when in danger.

I don't get his fans... If I like a fighter I want to see him fight as much as possible and against the best possible opposition. Haye fans seem to be fine with having a big mouth for a while, fight some WBA chump and then be off the grid for 8 to 10 months to begin running his mouth again. :huh

 

Remember when Haye said

"I am doing this for Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier" when he signed to fight Wlad last year?
