I use to train with him when he was ametuer, I haven't seen him since he has gone pro quite a few years ago. I haven't even seen any of his fights, does anyone know of any upcoming fight or any news on how his career is going?

His last outing to a pro box was in Germany where he lost to olympic silver medal winner Golovkin by point decision

You are right. He is certainly not that much fun to watch.

A very capable fighter who doesnt have a crowd pleasing style and who is hardly marketable to the causul sport fan.

Whats more he is a quite dangerous boxer who can upset a favoured opponent quite easily.

Not really the kind of boxer who is signed by young rising talents' promoters or for the reigning champs' voluntary title defenses.
Must be tough for him to get a meaningful fight and to collect a decent pay check.

I dont know how much money he earned in his last fight against Golovkin, but I somehow doubt that it was that much.Golovkin is a classy fighter who won silver at the last olympic tourament. However,he is still quite unknown in the paid ranks.Gardner put up a good show of boxing against him,but Golovkin was just the better boxer of this pair.
He crossed the big pond with a loss in his record and a relatively small fight purse.Must be truly tough for him to motivate himself to stay in the game!
