:rofl:rofl No, it doesn't. BT Would you fight David Haye in England? SC Indeed I would. The USS Cunningham engines are ready, they are running. If that's what it takes for him to come out from hiding, we'll fight him in England. That clearly means that Haye is ducking him and to force the fight USS would go to England....(which is bull****)
"Some people are going to say Haye is running from me, but this is a business move on his part. There's more money at heavyweight, so I can't fault him completely. But I do fault him for saying there's no reason to stay at cruiserweight because he cleaned up the division. He didn't. I'm the IBF champion and he didn't clean me up." How about this ****? What's your interptetation here?:deal
You didn't prove ****. If he truly though Haye was ducking him, offering to fight him in England wouldn't change his mind. It's a given that the fight would happen in England anyway.
That's what he's saying.....he's ducking me, so I'll even offer to fight in England in an attempt to change his mind!! You're right it wouldn't work, Haye has no business at CW, he's done there......USS is just being a twat. Lets get Enzo Vs USS on, will be interesting.
Course it would happen in England, the O2 arena is amazing, David Haye is the WBA, WBC, WBO, Ring and Lineal Cruiserweight Champion.....where else is ti gonna be held???
If he beat up USS some divvy would be saying he hasn't beaten the IBO or WBU champ or some such. Haye has proved he is the man at 200lb beyond question.
Bigreg pretty much said it all now good fighters are getting **** for calling out the best... its not like he is trashing haye left and right, he was calling him out and trying to get a fight made, hes a fellow beltholder in the division for gods sakes.. lol. Id be scratching my head if he was just keeping his mouth shut and continuing to fight mandatories because hes the type of fighter that wants to claim the top spot. This isnt felix sturm were talking about.
Since when the **** is the IBO or WBU on the same level as the IBF? Let's stop with the bull****. If want to say Haye is going after the money at HW, that's fine. However, let's not make up bull**** like "there's always another fighter out there". Cunningham is the no.1 contender and holds a major belt. A belt that he got after the former undisputed chance refused to fight him. I'm not even upset anymore about Haye going to HW. It's his career, he has every right to pursue bigger financial rewards
He didn't 'attempt to fight Haye', he didn't do anything. Was he at the Haye/Maccarinelli fight? Did his promotion team contact Haye's people after the fight, with an offer to tempt him into one more fight at Cruiserweight? Nope. He sat on his arse in Philladelphia and mouthed off in a couple of media interviews. In other words, he did none of the things that someone really trying to make a fight would do, and only the things someone just looking for some cheap publicity would do.
how would going to the fight change a damn thing? he called out Haye let him know that it is bogus to say he cleaned out the division and that if he wants to back up that claim he has to face him. Period. Haye heard what he said and moved on to HW, but still spouts his nonsense of cleaning out the division when that is simply false.
Going to the fight would be symbolic, actually putting an offer on the table would be far more indicative of actually wanting a fight. And, as has been repeatedly stated, Haye beat the man at the weight to become the recognised number one. There'll always be another 'number one contender', but he proved everything he had too and is now seeking a new challenge. You can quibble over the definition of 'undisputed' and 'cleaned out' all you want, bottom line is Haye achieved all his goals at Cruiserweight, Cunningham has nothing he wants or needs, and now Haye is focussed on achieving his childhood dream of becoming World Heavyweight Champion.
So I guess Miguel Cotto needs to put an offer on the table before we believe that he wants to fight Mayweather? I guess the same goes for Witter as well? Sorry, that **** doesn't fly. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that Cunningham wants to fight Haye. It would represent his biggest payday, and give him a chance to prove himself as the best fighter in the division. So let's stop with the bull****, let's stop trying to outhink ourselves, and stop being apologists. Let's just use some good old fashion common sense for once.
