Briggs would more than likely KO Mesi early before his bad stamina has a chance to kick in.

Totally agree. Theres nothing we can do about the likes of Yo Sam Choi but Mesi has already suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. Lets say he suffers another & dies, it would give the anti boxing brigade all the ammunition they need nevermind the heart ache it would cause his family.

 

I don't know if people get the right picture but Joe Mesi suffered two subdural hematomas and has a chance of suffering a fatal brain damage if he takes that big punch heavyweights are likely to produce. He is allowed to fight on Rhode Island, Arkansas, West Virginia, Quebec and Puerto Rico and denied a license in California, New York, Nevada and New Jersey. Promoter Jimmy Burchfield from Rhode Island and the so-called physicians he bought are those kind of creepy things that feed on human blood and should all be investigated to full extent.

 

Yes didnt he suffer a second one whilst moving a piece of furniture for a friend? I found that more concerning than the one he suffered in the ring because it suggests there is still a vulnerability there.

I think we have to consider the pre Jirov fight Mesi a different prospect to the one we have today. It's a major concern, I just watched video footage of the Yo-Sam Choi aftermath. We really don't need that happening again, especially to a fighter who has had severe warnings.

If that is true then it's extremely concerning. How can his father still be encouraging him to fight?
