Definitely. With the amount of fights Hearn is sending stateside he is going to need a few filler UK fights to keep the broadcaster happy, especially with only 1 UK fight for AJ this year. Brook with a warm up potentially against someone Smith has already beat (Jimmy Kelly maybe?) then a fight in the summer, unfortunately on PPV.

 

Think Smith will fight Jessie Vargas. That's what Hearn was saying he likes the other day.

Any of the top guys at 147 and 154 would beat Kell, he was so badly damaged by the GGG beating that one more loss may finish him permanently and with it the big payday against Khan. Best to just bide his time for now.

 

Not sure 1 off night doesn't make you a bad fight overnight. Lets see how he looks in his next fight before judging.

Kell Brook is done, lads. I don’t want that to be the case and i’d like to see him have one more crack at a major title. The fight against Zerafa demonstrated that his speed and timing weren’t quite as sharp as they once were. The fella was supposed to be fodder for Fowler but Brook got him instead and make a hard night of it. Kell from 2-3 years ago would have dealt with him in 4 rounds.

 

Does anyone really care if Kell Brook bats for the other side? I would however like to discuss one of the better boxers that the UK has produced over recent years without forever wading through the sort of humour that seemed really daring back when I was 12 and before I realised that hey, a certain number of people are gay and that's ok and if we all just live and let live we'll collectively hjave a better time.
