Where is Mayweather's defense ranked All Time?

    I love boxing and been watching it for some time. watched alot of ol school tape of fighters in the past to this day.

    I think Mayweather has a top 5 defense ever! I mean he seems to never really get hit clean with any punches. obliviously you have to land something so its not 0% but its been in so many big fights and i always see the opponet land less then 25% like all the time! its actually pretty astonishing.

    Master the shoulder roll and does it so well, hope he becomes a trainer later on to teach other fighters how to do it. Broner just tries but nobody has ever taught him and took a beating few weeks ago. Canelo tried for a minute too but i dont think he was serious about it.

    Defense is all about reflexes too and u can tell Mayweather has some of the top ever. Whitaker would be in my top 5 too because of that, would rank Mayweather higher because of his should roll

    Where do u rank Mayweather?

    Sweet Pea and him interchangable

    Locche/Pep's defense wouldn't match these two.

    Cant argue bro, Mayweather is truly great.

    people wanna say he picks all the easy fights and of course thats BS, but even if you was to think that his defense is great! Meaning he always has a chance against anybody if he doesnt get hit often

    I only think of Mayweather and sweet pea when i think defense. nobody else really comes to mind

    I do not watch old fights but I have watched almost every significant fight in the last 20 years and he is the best I have ever seen. So top 5 is a no brainer.

    Hate him
    Hate watching him
    Hate seeing him cheat to win...ie Gatti, Ortiz etc
    Hate knowing he's been staying at 5.9X the normal testosterone levels for his entire career, including AMs.
    Hate that he beats women, the lowest for of human waste.


    But......
    He's definitely one of, if not THE greatest defensive fighters ever.
    Hard to imagine an oldie like Sugar Ray having the coordination to bend and twist and still fire counters like he does. Or hooking off the shoulder roll. The f/n guy is amazing to watch, if you can get past knwoing what a dirtbag scumbag wife beating cheat he is.

    Let him beat Pac, and maybe I'll like him in the ring. Until then.....Im president of Roid Mayflower Haterz Inc KY/Chitown chapter.:D

    I can name at least 12 fighters who had better defense than Floyd. Here they are:

    "Sweet P" Pernell Whitaker, "Untouchable" Nicolino Locche, Charley Burley, Harry Greb, Gene Tunney, Rocky Marciano, Benny Leonard, Bernard Hopkins, Wilfred Benitez, Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Ray Leonard.
