HBO are so determined to manufacture fighters that when they emerge naturally they're ignored. Ishida and Pirog both scored spectacular, upset knockouts and I think the fans would like to see them on American TV again.

I hope he gets more exposure. He seems cool.

HBO wanted to bury Martinez too. He was bought in as an opponent against Cintron, then against Williams, and then against Pavlik. He wasn't supposed to win. And even after those great performances, fight of the year, knockout of the year, fighter of the year, they STILL don't want him. They refuse to televise a fight against Zbik, forcing him to give up his belt, but Chavez Jr vs Zbik for the same title is okay? Madness. HBO had an exciting fighter in front of them, who is great to watch and has the charisma and looks of a movie star, and they try to ignore him. Instead they try to force Devon Alexander, Andre Berto and Paul Williams down our throats, despite the fact they don't sell tickets and have zero crossover appeal.

Yeah these dumbasses don't understand that a lot of people would love to seem them back on HBO. At least give them rematches.
