I've got him #7 from 126-147. P4P... Somewhere in the top 25 is fair. Between 10-25. Top 5 if he'd retired before fighting roidquez.
I think in some cases it does, when a fighter is operating at such a high level I think it can diminish what they were once capable of . Most people won't remember them at their best, but leaving at the top. I think Lewis retirement was the perfect time . If he took the rematch and lost he would have looked at like he never faced a stylistic nightmare during his prime until then.
Depends what the criteria for ranking is. I rank on winnability so no matter how many past prime losses a boxer has it doesn't diminish their ranking for me
Well you're way off ranking is the way it should be. But i think for naysayers it leaves a lot of room to deny a fighters quality.
Everyone will have a different list so everyone will make their own minds up. If someone wants to judge a fighter for post prime losses, that's up to them. I don't. For example anything after Duran left WW, the wins he gets credit for, the losses don't detract from anything imo.
Top 50 , I didn't want to believe it at first but you don't beat Hatton , Cotto and ODLH like you did then lose your punch power 3 fights later. Pac was very good but had help.
above Mayweather they both beat old people and weight drain mother ****ers but Pac beat better people and the 50-0 is bull **** unless he fought at heavyweight
Let me think. 1.Ray Robinson 2.Henry Armstrong 3.Harry Greb 4.Sam Langford 5.Ezzard Charles 6.Roberto Duran 7.Mickey Walker 8.Archie Moore 9.Ray Leonard 10.Benny Leonard 11.Jimmy McLarnin 12.Manny Pacquiao 13.Floyd Mayweather 14.Pernell Whitaker 15.Emile Griffith 16.Roy Jones Jr. 17.Tony Canzoneri 18.Billy Conn 19.Jimmy Wilde 20.Tommy Loughran 21.Jimmy Bivins 22.Barney Ross 23.Willie Pep 24.Julio Cesar Chavez 25.Muhammad Ali
