Where is Paul Dempsey these days?

    I thought he may turn up on Premier or Primetime.

    He was Mr Boxing on Sky only a few years back.

    Did he leave Sky for Setanta, or did he move on before then?

    IIRC he left Sky for Setanta and I think he still works for Setanta Ireland.

    The guy looked like he knew nothing but he could hold his own against many of them including Bunce.

    He started on about Ruben Olivares one night, I almost fell off my seat.

    Yeah i liked Paul Dempsey, i think your right that he still works for Setanta. He is a better lead man than anyone who works for sky at the moment and he asked questions that weren't so ****ing obvious like they do now.

    Get him back on sky. The two guys now smith and that other gimp really make me cringe

    Dempsey def knew his stuff .... gone are the days staying up to the early hours to watch a full card with Dempsey leading the charge!?....Good Times!?

    works for Setanta Ireland and still insists on randomly turning to stare down the camera lens when putting questions to other sports pundits....

    I use to like Dempsey. I guess we dont know if he left Sky on good terms! No doubt he was sold a dream by Setanta and was offered huge money like everyone else.

    What I did find strange was that Setanta ended up not even using him for there boxing coverage. :patsch

    Yeah he does loads of different sport now..Gaelic Games, soccer, rugby even (although might have to double check that).

    He's a good presenter, apart from his habit of staring down the camera lens.

    At Setanta we always used Paul for the big fights - he was and remains busy with football and rugby on Setanta in Ireland and that is why we never used him week after week. He was the 'guest' presenter once on the Bunce Hour and he gave me 60-minutes of stick, it was classic.
    He's different class, no questions.

    I liked Paul on Sky compared to what they have now you would do anything to get Paul back on. I think he was presenting the Frampton bill in Belfast before Xmas. Also cant beat he and Pat Dolan doing the football on Setanta Ireland.
