He looked like a progress coming up as a boxer his record is still unblemished but he is not on showtime or Hbo tho his only recognised opponent is Angel Manfredy but i never knew his career with fade away even at 47-0,he fought twice this year already back then i knew he had some sort of trouble with the law and that was the last time i heard of him till his name came to my head today.
Long story short-out of the ring screwups destroyed his boxing career. I doubt he ever gets back on HBO. He just fought last month I believe,2 fights this year, first time in 6 years he has more than 2 a year.
Spaddy has battled legal and addiction trouble over the years. He has recently hired sweet pea as his trainer as he tries to work his back to top. Being at his last two fights, he has a long way to go, but you cant count him out. He has the heart of a lion
I had read that before. It's hard to believe based on Spadafora's sub par performances against Angel Manfredy and Leonard Dorin.
It was on video brieftly. And he did give Mayweather a hard time, but this was years ago, when Paul was in his 'prime' - so to speak - and Mayweather looked bad in the sparring, was barely moving his feet. We all know what would happen if they fought for real. Mayweather would of outclassed him.
The sparring session is overrated obvisouly. It took place in '99 when Spadafora was in camp for Cardona and Mayweather wasn't training atll back then.I don't know why do I remember or where did I read this but for some reason I remember Mayweather bein greported at 154 lbs in that sparring.Hard to believe since he was at 130 at the time. Spadafora did go on to look good vs Cardona.
Wouldn't surprise me. He looked very big and very flat-footed in that sparring. I think this was before he became a gym rat.
There was a time when he wasn't a gym rat?I thougt this was for good. But yeah he looked huge and slow and not himself. In fact if you didn't tell me it's him I wouldn't believe it.
