There was a point when QJ was considered the GOAT Where would you rate Page As a discussion point, how good was a prime Quinton? [YT]NDEDeVQpTxc[/YT]
Resume wise, but what do you think he could achieve hth...doubt he would rank higher the 2-0 over prime Chuck. Guess thats why Im asking the question...nobody dominated a prime ATG twice but his resume since in really lacking Page has some good wins...but was he Liddels' kryptonite (great tdd and epic chin)and an ATG great, or was he a good style match up against Chuck but severely lacking against rudimentary Muay Thai[Wandy, Keith, shogun, Forrest}?
Oh well, I was going to embed an I Talk to Myself video; but Haggis ****ed it up before I learned how to do it. Rampage is around the 6th best to fight at this weight. Though Liddell lost to Jackson head to head, his accomplishments out weigh Rampage's. Wanderei has him head to head, and resume wise. Wanderlei, Chuck, Liddell, Rua, and Jones should be above him.
Id agree with that Rek, Charles was higher resume wise but Page had his number. If the Chuck of the Suloev/Belfort fight had fought Page, he may have made his low kicks take their toll rather than be right hand happy. Maybe Page was just a better boxer with good TDD to beat Charles...as I say his kryrptonite...
1st sentance...assuming you mean Frank? And how is it tough comparing Page to Charles and Tito when he's 2-0 against Liddel, and Tito aint beat a striker of note since Wandy [maybe Vitor, even that was close] and Quinton wasnt lacking in TDD and could easily replicate what Charles did? PS dont post when drunk fella...leave that to Rek...who lies!
I think a prime Rampage (who can actually be bothered) is a tough night for any LHW in history. Not saying he was the best, but a tough night for anyone. Rampage's problem IMO was just ****in laziness, once the game started evolving and he was required to learn new techniques to stay relevant he dropped off dramatically. Rampage just wants everyone to stand in front of him with their chin in the air and if you don't do that, he really can't be ****ing bothered. Sad really, with his ridiculous strength and KO power he could of possibly been the LHW GOAT. Well, until Bones came along.
Top 5 for sure. He went on quite a run in the UFC before he lost (well officially anyway) to Forrest.
