There are more guys who disappear in the 140 pound division than any other weight class. Kotelnik is MIA too.

yeah it was..i remember not knowing who torres was and was amazed at this slugfest....this was a gutcheck for cotto, who nearly got ko'ed by him..if only torres wasn't a replacement and actually trained for cotto he prolly would've stopped him

Torres beat Holt and then had him before getting head butt KO'd never got over turned though many cases of that do

He fought a guy Raul Pinzon 2 weights above his normal weigh twas getting killed and then stopped him in the 10th when Pinzon was way out of gas

him and Urango are 2 140 lb sluggers who were faves of mine

I liked that kid. Some very good power. Shook Cotto up. Good fight indeed.

the head but was accidental, it didnt knock him out just stunned him and the right hand he caught was a real peach.

    One of my fave fights.

Round 2 is crazy, would have been stopped over here in England definetly.

Yes i'm suprised torres retired. He could have been in the mix for some big paydays. The guy could punch.

very entertaining fighter. A lot of Columbian fighters has a huge 2 years or so, and the kind of dissapeared.

    Fixed.

Torres was decent fighter, great puncher. I think that's Cotto's most exciting fight.

Torres retired, Kotelnik said he would probably retire if he couldn't get a significant fight in the US. Juan Urango is back, though.

I was always a fan. Would have loved to have seen him and hatton go at it.

As stated above Kotelnik as well...

This is what today's promoters do to fighters. They throw them in the trash instead of trying to help them out.

  14. In probably the greatest 1-round fight I've ever seen.
