It's a shame Chagaev had so much inactivity and ring rust because he was a prett solid operator. I don't know if he can get back to any sort of form now.
:good:good Wlad is now on his top with Emanuel Steward in his corner. Steward knows how to train tall heavyweights. Wladimir learned from his losses and thats very important. He changes training and the trainer (after the loss against Sanders). Wlad is now working with people who stand more than 100 % behinds him! I think Chagaev“s career is in trouble because his promoter has lost his TV Contract. Because of this Universum Boxpromotion has financial trouble. I hope Chagaev can continue fighting, maybe against Meehan.
Kubrat is a bad man in his own right. Nothing agaisnt Skelton, but I hope The Kobra wins impressively in a few short hours. The Helenius fight I am more torn on, because I want Robert to succeed and contribute to this division, but I am always going to be a Brewster fan.
Isn't he still a WBA interim champ or something. . .thought I heard somewhere the Wlad loss didn't cost him whatever belt he had.
I think Ibragimov and Chagaev would be interesting opponents for Haye although I think Haye may run from anybody carrying a contract proposal for said contests.
I agree. I actually would also be fairly interested in how an Ibragimov/Chagaev fight would turn out. Two crafty southpaws with decent punches and very good chins. One loss each to the same man. I wonder what would happen.
Nooooo!!!! WBA circle jerk! Noooo!!!! Sorry, that wasn't a reaction to RC specifically. Just, Haye VS Wlad or Vitali is so much more interesting than RC VS Haye, Valuev VS Haye, etc...WBA circle jerk. There's a showdown that's been brewing elsewhere.
