    I'd put him at #2 behind Ricardo Lpoez and a head of Julio Cesar Chavez.

    I rate Sanchez higher than Chavez, not on resume, but on "eye test". Just think he was a more complete fighter (although it's easy to underrate Chavez's boxing abillity).
    Prime Olivares is as impressive as anybody.

    Valero is a big question mark on my top Mexican fighter list when it comes to greatness.

    Some doubt his Mexican credentials but the way i see it, he was more Mexican than De La Hoya will ever be.

    Chavez was the more complete fighter IMO.

    Sanchez was very effective countering, but not so much when he had to lead, although still good.

    Chavez was very effective at both. And spot on about Olivares...At his absolute best, dudes could do it all.

    Anywhere from 1-4 is common but most common is usually 2 or 3, swapping those spots with Ruben Olivares.

    Most of the time Chavez is no1.
